Proposal Outline:

The European Federation of Nurses represents over 36 National Nurses Associations and its work has an effect on the daily work of 3 million nurses throughout the European Union and 6 million in Europe. The EFN is the independent voice of the nursing profession and its mission is to strengthen the status and practice of the profession of nursing for the benefit of the health of the citizens and the interest of nurses in the EU and Europe.
The EFN is looking to be a partner (end-user) within a consortium's proposal for the call SC1-HCC-03-2018 Support to further development of international cooperation in digital transformation of health and care. With regard to this call, the EFN can contribute to important measures of the call such as dissemination, awareness-raising and communication, networking, coordination and support services, policy dialogues and mutual learning exercises. The EFN has a significant experience in leading the dissemination and coordination of EU projects, by coordinating the efforts related to the development and implementation of detailed and realistic dissemination, communication and exploitation plans, in close collaboration with the contract holder and all the project partners. In addition, the EFN would bring a valuable contribution to the consortium due to its experience in projects dealing with digital solutions. In effect, with the EU funded project ENS4Care, EFN led the evaluation of 175 good nursing practices in eHealth services with the objective to develop evidence based guidelines for the implementation of eHealth services in nursing and social care, focussing on prevention & continuity of care (including clinical practice, advanced roles, nurse ePrescribing and integrated care).  Moreover, through its strong network of 36 National Nursing Associations and strong connections with national nursing regulators and unions in the EU, EFN is placed in a crucial position to ensure that relevant stakeholders are engaged during the process.
