Computer Vision Applied in the Food Industry: Fruit Tree

Description of the project offered: 
We offer research opportunities related to automatic and non-intrusive computer vision systems and algorithms to detect segment and classify various fruit tree, comprising: Thomson orange, Khooni orange, Golden delicious apple, fruits and/or fruit tree leave like Punica granatum (pomegranate), Ficus carica (fig), Amygdalus (almond), Rubus fruticosus (blackberry) and Crataegus aronia (hawthorn), among others.

We have various private image databases for different fruit tree varieties which could be used during research.

We offer expertise in computer vision, machine learning and expert systems
