Communications Platform for Orange Economy and Social Innovation

Description of the project offered: 
Creation of a platform for social communication aimed to reach all the public in Cartagena, Colombia and the surrounding region. Making access to particular information easier for locals and tourists in order to create new economic and cultural dynamics. Promoting our path of human development as the new attraction for sustainable tourism. Highlighting local creativity and artistic expression.

We already have a webpage, a fairly big social networks presence and our PR in Cartagena can reach anyone from the neighborhoods to government and industry. The main objective is to create a global platform that integrates in a smart way all the information that different markets have. Creation of databases, a mobile app, a website, a local media invested on promoting development, innovation, orange economies, urban education, democracy and general participation.

Our main proposal is to cover many aspects historically ignored and neglected by governments. Civilian education, traffic and route common sense, honesty, entrepreneurship, not littering are subjects waiting to be solved for decades. We can do it as non profit, as an advertisment agency for social education campaigns. We'll work closely with universities for new journalists to write about innovation and new opportunities.

To this day we have a few universities support, the Society for Public Improvements, unions, tourism industry and a large group of local artists, entrepreneurs and enviromentalists. We are operational and working. Thanks to Internet and social networks we can reach almost everyone in Cartagena. And we are sure we will have a big impact.
