2016-12-05 Ukraine: The Expansion of The Market for European Manufacturers of Modern Equipment on The Basis of Cluster Approach

The Expansion of The Market for European Manufacturers of Modern Equipment on The Basis of Cluster Approach

Description of the project offered:
TOPIC : Cluster facilitated projects for new industrial value chains
Topic identifier: INNOSUP-01-2016-2017

There is observed in Eastern European countries the need for constant renewal of modern analytical and industrial equipment for scientific research, technological operations, industrial production and quality control in different sectors of the economy.
The reason for this, among other things, is the lack of existing organizational and business models, the permanent need for their improvement, maintaining the optimal relations, business infrastructure, and the lack of effective information exchange among producers and consumers, compounded by an insufficient number of appropriate specialists.
The project involves a cluster approach that allows to establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the expansion and improvement of the above mentioned services market. In particular, this approach involves a combination of clusters consisting of a group of interrelated organizations and companies on the territory of the EU and the countries of Eastern Europe combined for the realization of competitive advantages of the production and sales of European equipment.
The project involves the creation of an information resource that is capable of solving the following tasks:
- creation and maintaining databases of manufacturers and consumers of analytical, industrial and research equipment;
- creation of specialized databases for researchers and scientists;
- conducting market research;
- promoting interaction among clusters.
It is also expected to develop procedures to allow multipurpose use of equipment and devices installed at consumers, with the aim of advertising, demonstration and training. It aims also to familiarization with the operational characteristics of the equipment in close contact with European manufacturers and with the broad involvement of Universities and Research Institutions.
In addition, the project intends to prepare proposals for the organization specifically equipped independent laboratories to monitor quality and consistency of the goods transboundary transported.
The company Materials lab due to its professional activity has sustainable links with European equipment manufacturers and equipment consumers. This specificity gives the possibility of mutually beneficial market development, using the proposals set out in this project idea, including the cluster approach.
It is expected that the main outcome of the project will be the creation of dynamic economic relationships, effective value chains and, therefore, maximizing the total margin.
