New Facilities for European Manufacturers of Veterinary Medicines in the Markets of the Eastern European Region

Description of the project offered:
TOPIC: Cluster facilitated projects for new industrial value chains
Topic identifier: INNOSUP-01-2016-2017

Aim of the project is the creation of a specialized veterinary information and logistics platform facilitating the entry of European manufacturers into the markets of the Eastern European region.
The veterinary medicine and related biosafety, sanitary and veterinary control and well-being, issues of awareness and logistics in connection with the globalization of the world food market are of particular importance.
At present, there is the problem of effective market entry for European manufacturers of veterinary products to markets of Eastern European region. This is caused by lack of information-analytical database evaluating the state of the veterinary market and underdeveloped logistics solutions in the field of veterinary medicine, which results in large financial risks.
To solve this problem, the project proposes to address the shortcomings through the development of infrastructure, similar to that, existing in the pharmaceutical market. Specifically, the proposed project is aimed at organizing a platform for providing comprehensive services in this field of business. The platform project involves the creation of veterinary market information-analytical database and optimal solutions in the field of logistics services for market participants. It is planned to create conditions for the centralized storage and delivery of emergency reserve of vaccines in case of epizootic outbreaks of dangerous infections, along with the establishment of a scientific information network on the basis of specialized veterinary information and logistics complex of the company Farmasoft.
The project will also provide scientific support for the use of veterinary medicines of European companies, monitoring of sales, movement and rational use in the Eastern European region. The availability of data in the form of independent monitoring of the medicines will provide useful feedback for the European manufacturers.
At present, our company has a specialized veterinary customs warehouse, which already provides some European manufacturers of veterinary products with safe and quality storage and delivery in compliance with strict temperature regime (“cold chain”).
It is planned in the framework of the project to organize a system of collection and analysis of data of product use, sales, market capacity and dynamics, as well as to expand the existing warehouse and logistics capacity to achieve the objectives of the project.
The establishment of the platform will provide the value chain to European veterinary manufacturers and facilitate access to new veterinary markets of Eastern European region as well as minimize their financial risks.
The increase of the Farmasoft company resource potential will provide a basis for formation proposed platform for pan-European network of international logistics systems that will meet the challenges of globalizing markets in the framework of horizontal integration in a short time.
The project involves the participation of specialized institutions of the Eastern European region and the formation of clusters on their basis with the aim of building sustainable infrastructure.
