2016-11-08 Italy: HeriTAGe - A New Method for the Study, Analysis and Virtual Experience of the Cultural Heritage

HeriTAGe - A New Method for the Study, Analysis and Virtual Experience of the Cultural Heritage

Description of the project offered:
Tecno Art is an Italian engineering company specialized in survey and diagnostics with laser scanner technology.
We are currently refining an “idea of project” born several years ago and based on the scanning and 3d modeling of cultural heritage for the creation of a multimedia platform based on the virtual reconstruction of the investigated areas.
In our vision it could represent a new method for the study and analysis of the cultural heritage and, at the same time, an innovative platform for the understanding and the enhancement of the heritage, with the ability to exploit a three-dimensional environment created from realistic data (thanks to the laser scanner survey), implemented with augmented reality applications and fully experienced first hand by immersive technology.
We aim to present a project within the next call H2020 - CULT COOP 9-2016 on the Topic "European cultural heritage, access and analysis for a richer interpretation of the past", but we would also be interested in other call or topic related to the main idea of the project, such as Virtual Tourism.
