2016-10-10 Greece: Different Religions: A Story from the Past

Different Religions: A Story from the Past

Description of the project offered:
CULT-COOP-05-2017: Religious diversity in Europe - past, present and future: This project proposes a comparative analysis of the historical roots of today' s religious tolerance and intolerance by investigating the diversity of convinctions in Europe through different case studies like the role of women, the role of symbols and the role of state in different religions. Culture is always a privileged field that blunts the boundaries and promotes convergence and synergy. Furthermore, museums have always been about engaging audiences with big issues and controversial topics.
