2016-06-08 Italy: Modernising People through IoE Products, Services, Processes and Infrastructures

Modernising People through IoE Products, Services, Processes and Infrastructures

Description of the project offered:
The R-h2020 project addresses the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Internet of Services (IoS) with the aim of entering the “internet lifestyle” of people through the innovative technology named “Real” (R-tec) towards a likely disruptive modernisation process that involves the use of the web-enabled device “Realino” (R-dev) and the web-based platform “Realer” (R-pla):

- R-dev enables other devices to be operated at a distance;
- R-pla allows users to interface their physical resources; and
- R-tec integrates the features of both R-dev and R-pla into the ambitious things, services and applications that individuals and organisations adopt for innovating the state-of-the-art implementations, processes and infrastructures while benefiting the full exploitation of ICT.

Both IoT and IoS segments and sectors, combined in one Internet of Everything (IoE) by 2020, have enough potential (17+ trillion euros globally) that may significantly boost the European Internet Industry and lead to the prospect of the Digital Single Market in terms of technologies, systems and application domains; the proposed IoE targets in the IoT industry and in the IoS industry are intended for developers, administrators and for businesses as consumers, producers or as providers who need to improve their and others’ performance, comfort and/or security by directly utilising the development results of collaborative schemes.

R-h2020 is aligned with the business strategy of the SME Real Technologies Srl by multidisciplinary teams and networks that support the project implementation, vision and mission in “future internet” public-private partnerships.
