A Strategic Partnership to Fight against Cancer by an Innovative Performing Training System

Description of the project offered:
The quality of education and training in the field of palliative care can be improved by combining high levels of excellence, innovation and attractiveness with more opportunities for all, including those who are less advantaged.
The strategic partnership, this project wants to achieve between organizations committed to the field of palliative care at home, aims to support the development, transfer and the implementation of innovative practices, as well as the implementation of join activities and promotion of peer learning and exchanges of experience at a European level.
The project aims to work on 3 main areas:
1. E-Learning, as one type of Technology Supported Learning.
2. JOB SHADOWING. Planning of short stays in organization partners with the aim of receiving professional training from the host organization, to exchange new practices, develop knowledge, sign new long term partnerships through participative observation.
3. DISSEMINATION of the results.
Better education in this field is a key to improve quality of life of patients at advanced stage and their family.
Well performing education and training systems can help to tackle the challenge of assisting cancer patients until the end of their life and of supporting their families by providing professionals with the necessary skills.
The investment in knowledge, skills and competences will benefit individuals, institutions, organizations and society as a whole by contributing to growth and ensuring equity, prosperity and social inclusion.
