2016-02-16 Netherland: Indoor Air Contamination Modelling

Indoor Air Contamination Modeling

Description of the project offered:
An important aspect of critical infrastructure protection is the protection against toxic agents, which can penetrate the building via the HVAC or the windows. These agents can come from for instance an accident with a nearby industrial plant, or even from an terrorist attack (with for instance CBRN agents or Toxic Industrial Chemicals, TIC's). It is important to know which parts of the building will be contaminated after such an attack.
An indoor airflow model can help to predict this.
