Ion-exchange, Sorption and Membrane Technologies for Water, Waste, Food Industries

Description of the project offered: 
We are looking for a partners for cooperation with our team for Horizon 2020 at the scientific area of sorption & membrane materials & technologies. We are not submitted project proposal at that moment. Our research team has experience and research interest in such fields as , ion-exchange and membrane technologies: mainly electrodeionization (combination of ion-exchange and elecrodialysis technology) and electrodialysis, ion-exchange. Our researching are focused on: 
-Electrodeionization. Processes of deionization combine inorganic and organic components ( membrane, ion-exchangers) in the technoligy, which is characterized with low energy consumption and opportunity to control the concentration of recovering solution. Method of electrodeionization could be effectively applied for separation and recovery water solution with low salt’s concentrations, to clean portable water from toxic or radioactive metals, to remove valuable (for example Lithium )components from industrial wastewater.
- Synthesis. There is a lot of experience of receiving and developing new inorganic porous materials:
-Hydroxides ( Ti, Zr, Sn, Mn, Al…), composite double hydroxides (Al-Ti, Ti-Mn ….), hydrated phosphates and others inorganic porous ion-exchangers.
Hybrid materials: combination organic resins (DVC) and inorganic materials (nanomaterials) for selective removal As, Cu, Cd, Pb …
-Surface modification and advance of inorganic membranes based on ceramic for using with electrodialysis for water solution, dairly and wine industry.
The Special Engineering Bureau with a Pilot Plant is SME with production facility. SEB is actively involved in different fields of R&D. SEB has highly qualified staff able to combining the technology of the engineer and the vision of the planner provides an integrated approach to find the optimum solutions to every engineering problem. Services of specialists, specializing in different fields of science and engineering are available to support complex or special project.
