Development of International Cooperation in the Field of Extraction Industry

Description of the project offered: 
The purpose of this project is the creation of conditions for providing of sustainable access to raw materials, including metallic industrial minerals, construction raw materials and, in particular, scarce raw materials.
The given project is implemented with the aim of increasing transparency of subsoil use in all directions (oil and gas sector, ferrous, nonferrous, rare and noble metals, precious stones, non-metallic raw materials, building materials, agrochemical raw materials, drinking and mineral water, etc.), which are significant components of revenues of the budgets of various countries. As the efficiency and the transparency in the field of the mining industry are the base of sustainable use of primary raw materials and processing of secondary raw materials, this project will be a significant contribution to the sustainable development.
The project is aimed at:
• harmonization of geological regulations; 
• development of indexes of investment attractiveness of the geological exploration objects;
• development of the principles of price formation of geological exploration and providing the transparency of formation of the initial price of the contract;
• elaboration of legislative basis for the revivification of mineral reserves through the sustainable extraction of primary raw materials and processing of secondary raw materials;
• development of organizational and economic mechanisms of enhancement of investment attractiveness of the perspective objects of subsoil use; 
• design of the conditions for organizing the state subsidy of private investors, creation of the market of risk capital and also determination of the investment amount in the field of subsoil use and their insurance in the territories of other countries;
• creation of conditions for research and formation of a network of industrial partners on the basis of international cooperation;
• contribution to the development and implementation of interconnected balanced regulatory framework (in compliance with European and international standards) in the field of geological study of subsurface resources and the formation of the state geological informational resources;
• expanding the participation of European partners in global initiatives in the mining sector;
• participation of small and medium-sized enterprises in the processing chain of the raw materials movement.
Expected results:
- The realization of project will encourage the forecasting of 
demand and supply of raw materials at the European and global 
level.
- Improving the access of participants of European and global markets to raw materials.
- The result of the project will also be an increase in investment attractiveness of the mining sector objects, exploration and creation of preconditions related to reducing the risks in their initial stages.
