Provenance and Semantic of Software Development Processes

Description of the project offered:
Cooperation in international, distributed software project features various challenges. For example the communication, definition and compliance to shared rules and processes. To support this, we want to provide a framework which allows to define and continuously improve the software life cycle (SLC).

Creation of a methodology and framework which allows to:
- Model the SLC and therewith connected processes
- Collection of information about the application of processes
- Visualisation of procedures and discrepancies
- Evaluation of processes, i.e. using metrics
- Improvement of processes
