Limiting Temperature Increase to Below 2°C in 2050: Are Pledges of COP21 Sufficient?

The project aims to the topic (b) or (c) of the next round H2020 call:
SC5-06-2016-2017: Pathways towards the decarbonisation and resilience of the European economy in the timeframe 2030-2050 and beyond

At CICERO (www.cicero.uio.no), we have a macro-economic model (GRACE at http://folk.uio.no/taoyuaw/grace.htm) to assess the long-term economic impact of the COP21 pledges of major emitting countries. Alternative pathways and necessary level of actions can also be analyzed. The project has to explore the issues including industrial competitiveness, green growth, international trade, energy security, public finance and cross-border capital flows.

According to the call, we need partners from (non-European) high-, middle- and/or low-income countries.
