Complex for Anaerobic Composting of Pure Chicken Manure and Production of Organic Biofertilizers

Description of the project offered: 

Ukrainian company developed a technology and installation for ecologically clean utilization of poultry plants’ waste (pure poultry manure). 

The technology is based on anaerobic fermentation in biogas plant with no additives and minimal water consumption and production of high-quality organic biofertilizers. Proposed solution is complex and provides technology itself and biogas plant where it is applied. The technology is aimed at small farm enterprises, continuous process, cost-effective waste processing, more profitable comparing to standard biogas technology. It allows to produce near 0.7 ton of organic biofertilizers from 1 ton of pure chicken manure. As the average price of the organic fertilizers in Europe is € 160 per ton, the income is €112 per 1 ton of the poultry plants’ waste. 

The company possesses a demonstration biogas plant for processing 1 ton of pure chicken manure per day in Kyiv region, Ukraine, a mobile biogas plant (laboratory version) for studies of raw material and experiments with technological process. The company carries out the field studies of the organic biofertilizers and seeks for additional funding to finish them and to improve some parts of biogas plant.

Innovative Aspects of the offer: Application of special construction inside fermenter, recirculation of liquid during biogas plant operation, usage of fiberglass tanks.

Main Advantages of the offer: Production of organic biofertilizers with high content of organic matter, humic and fulvic acids, accelerated fermentation process, no water consumption, no enzymes or other additives, simultaneous production of organic biofertilizers and biogas, the technology is aimed at small farm enterprises, continuous process, cost-effective waste processing, more profitable comparing to standard biogas technology.
