Description of the project offered: 
MARIE SKLODOWSKA-CURIE ACTIONS-INDIVIDUAL FELLOWSHIPS provide an opportunity for developing researchers to broaden their research experience by funding research (and travel and salary) to other EU member states for 12-24 months to work on joint research projects, and to access training and development opportunities. The Caledonian Academy are looking for researchers who have recently completed their doctorate to develop a joint research bid for the current MSCA-IF call, closing on 10 September 2015.

THE CALEDONIAN ACADEMY is a centre for research in Technology-enhanced Professional Learning. Our research is driven by real-world interdisciplinary problems, across the Energy and Finance sectors. We have worked with companies like Shell, BP, ConocoPhillips, and Centrica, Academic Institutions including the Open Universities in the UK and NL, the Institute of Education, Harvard University, and professional organisations such as the Energy Institute, and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. We engage in outreach activities, communicating research outputs to practitioners and policymakers through industry-focused events, public seminars, and publications.

OUR RESEARCH centres on knowledge worker learning. We would work together to design a research program to build on your research experience, focusing on individual/team learning in one or more of our research strands:
- LEARNING FROM INCIDENTS (LFI) The ability of individuals and organisations to learn effectively from incidents is critical for the safety of workers and the public, and for the protection of the environment. Our research in this domain advances the theory, methodology, practice, and policy of this nascent interdisciplinary field of inquiry by working with leading researchers, industry, and professional bodies. Research outputs are translated into practical approaches – toolkits, methodologies, and interventions. 
- SELF-REGULATED LEARNING (SRL) reconceptualises and realigns organisational approaches to professional learning with current trends in organisation, work, technology, and society. The SRL research strand aims to help organisations design more effective and productive learning environments and empower individuals to take control of their own learning, fostering economic performance, capabilities, skills, and well-being. 
- STRUCTURED PROFESSIONAL LEARNING explores the behaviour of professional learners in more structured learning contexts, such as Massive Open Online Courses. The aim of this research is to understand the potential of open structured learning as a complement to other forms of on-the-job learning. Our research explores the impact of MOOC learning on practice and develops tools and methods to study MOOC learning.
